Men's signet ring Mystérieux
Collection Unik manPlatinum Signet Ring with Black Diamonds
The Mystérieux signet ring was conceived through a study of light and material. David Bacher designed a piece where 27 black diamonds do not form a uniform surface, but a rhythm. Between the stones, platinum remains intentionally visible, creating subtle lozenge shapes that structure the jewel and animate its reflections. The slightly inclined face alters the reading of the ring depending on the viewing angle, revealing alternately the sheen of the metal and the depth of the black diamonds. The flush setting, regular and precise, holds each stone within a continuous pattern where platinum remains visible between the diamonds. Crafted in platinum in our workshop in France, Mystérieux presents a contemporary vision of the men’s signet ring. A a jewel where line, material, and light interact in a modern balance.
The Mystérieux design is part of the Unik Man collection, where D.Bachet explores a vision of men’s jewelry built around structure, material, and line. Volumes are defined with precision, proportions are controlled, and light is treated as an element of construction rather than decoration. The geometric motif created by the black diamonds and the visible platinum between the stones becomes a visual signature of the piece. This alternation creates a graphic rhythm that gives the jewel depth and presence, without demonstrative effect. Through Mystérieux, D.Bachet proposes a contemporary interpretation of the men’s signet ring: a piece defined by design, material strength, and the precision of the jeweler’s gesture.
