The Subtile design is built around discreet light and nearly invisible detail. David Bacher conceived a band where brilliance does not appear at first glance, but reveals itself in movement, as light catches the diamond-set edges. This approach shifts the traditional reading of the wedding band, drawing attention toward the sides of the jewel. The slightly curved profile softens the line and follows the natural movement of the hand, while the edge setting requires precise adjustment between each stone and the curve of the metal. Each diamond is integrated into a fine line that becomes part of the ring’s structure, a signature of D.Bachet craftsmanship. Through Subtile, the House develops a jeweler’s language in which light accompanies the jewel without overpowering it. The band becomes a composition of material, surface, and detail, true to the architectural approach of D.Bachet design.
